Yesterday these two baby coons were having breakfast in our wild Cherry tree. Betty watched them and filmed them for almost half an hour. They will probably be in the corn, killing the chickens and no telling what else.

We believe we have a responsibility to give our Feists good care. This goes double for pups. In the heat they have to have a cool place. Their home MUST be kept free of fleas and ticks. We worm the pups at 2 weeks and then 4 weeks, etc. We wormed the pups today. We use prescription Drontal wormer. This litter is a month old tomorrow. We build insulated whelping houses and then put a frozen two gallon container of ice in the house to cool. If the temp gets over 100, the ice must be replaced at least once during the day. If the pups are not in off the ground kennels, the mother and pups can not be kept free of worms! This litter will be weaned in 2 weeks. They are healthy and friendly!

Sweet banana peppers and corn and watermelons
corn and potatoes--been digging some hills--lots of potatoes!
Squash and Salsa peppers
Sweet potatoes and tomatoes. We put the fence to the outside of the tomatoes so the deer will have to go around to get to them.
