Ozark Chief is the tie that binds little Breeze to Smokey Joe! What a dog he was! Howard Beeks of Dutch Mills, AR owned Chief! He was Belle's Grandfather and is an ancestor of Breeze and Smokey Joe below! Chief would be proud of all his descendants that were born here on Galla Creek!
Breeze has moved to squirrel dog heaven--You ask--Where is that? Well, it is living in a pecan orchard in Hunt, Texas. Squirrels are a nuisance here and Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Henderson already have one Galla Feist trying to clear the orchard. Breeze is going to help Smokey Joe keep those squirrels out of the orchard! I found pictures of Smokey--taken 5 years ago--here on Galla Creek. His mother was Cherokee Circles and his sire Old Max. Circles was related to Galla Creek Belle. Buddy's new pup, Breeze is too. Buddy wants to have a bunch of Smokey/Breeze pups in a year and half--living the good life in the pecan orchard.
