I zoomed in on this bird that has been coming to my feeders this week. I knew he was here but now he is coming by to say 'howdy' every evening. I love to hear him call 'bob white'. When I was a kid the quail were everywhere. Now there are only a few around. I am glad I have a little flock here in the Meadow!

Bird of Yesterday
I zoomed in on this bird that has been coming to my feeders this week. I knew he was here but now he is coming by to say 'howdy' every evening. I love to hear him call 'bob white'. When I was a kid the quail were everywhere. Now there are only a few around. I am glad I have a little flock here in the Meadow!

I saw one in my yard a few mos ago...the 1st one I had seen in AZ in almost 25yrs
There are not to many around in the mountains where I live now but when I was a kid growing up GA was full of them every where you went and I loved them and I miss hearing them call. I got to where I could call them right up to me
