It is nice to hear that a tip from me turned out
good. Mac is out of Amos Moses (I sold him to
Mike Joyner) and Mike's dog Foxy Lady. I will copy part
of Steve's email and share the pictures of Mac.
Mac looks a lot like Amos on the tree--except for
the perk ears and I think that came from Lady.
Troy Vance owns a littermate to Mac.
Here is part of Steve's email I received today!
Mac is the best squirrel dog I have hunted in my 52
yrs. He is 14 months old in his 1st season and we are at
71 and counting. Leaves just now off the trees here in
La. Goal is 200+ which will be no problem. Everyone
that has hunted with him is amazed at his skills at
such a young age. I have given your phone number and
web site to at least 8 different people that have seen him
perform. This is a testament to your standards in the
squirrel dog (Old time Feist) breeding program. I will
be getting me another one soon from you as well as some
of my hunting buddies. Thanks for putting me on Mac when
he was 6 wk's old.

Larry, I talked to his son today and he has sold this dog to a friend who had a 13 year old son that wanted him for a squirrel dog. He kept the other and he hunts it off of a horse and it, too, is doing well. They are killing squirrels from it alone. It sounds like a good cross if given a chance.
