We got an email and picture of Bass Reeves from
Paul Parker. Bass in out of Bonnie Sue Parker and
Shooter. We named his litter after lawmen...he is
named for the famous black US Marshall who rode for
Judge Parker. If Parker could not get anyone to go
into the Nations after an Indian outlaw...he sent
Bass Reeves. We love naming the litters after a
theme then our feeble minds can keep up with the
pups. We are proud of Bass and think our pup from
that litter, Dan Maples is going to make a good one
too. Kevin Fulgham has a sister to the two, Paisley.
Our Grandson Clayton Jones owns a female sister,
Carrie Nation "Patch". Enjoy the pictures of Bass
treeing his first squirrel and notice his parents
below his photo. That cock-eyed ear comes from ole
Shooter!
Betty and Larry,
Thought I'd send the latest photo of Bass. My wife was walking to the
road this week to get the mail and Bass was there with her. A squirrel ran
across his path and the race was on. Kathy said he almost caught him before
he went up the tree. He treed and watched the squirrel intensely. The
squirrel moved to another tree and another and Bass was right there with the
squirrel - barking all the way. Once the squirrel got to the big woods,
Bass lost him amongst the trees. He put forth a good effort.
His only shortcoming now is that his left ear don't flop down.
It's always up - kind of like radar. Hope you all
are well and surviving the cold winter. Won't be long until spring.
Regards,
Paul

Paul I must say you have one GOOD looking pup. If that other ear would stick up he'd look just like his sister, Paisley.
Kevin
