I am going to have a pup from her. She is treeing here
when she is just a pup. I took her hunting with the big
d0gs and she treed like she was one of them. That day
she trailed a scent under a big boulder on Richland
Creek. Then she could not get out and it took almost
an hour of me calling her before I got one of her legs
and pulled her out. She got sick when she was less than
a year old and I thought I was going to lose her again.
She is going to be able to really hunt this winter and I
am so excited to see her tree again. When she trees
she is intense and furious at the squirrel, she takes
hunting seriously. I take her seriously. She is out of
Spook and is a littermate to Spud.

It was right after this picture was took when she got sick.She lost so much weight she was just bones with skin stretched over it.She was so weak for 5 weeks I would have to help her off the porch to use the restroom.I would also have hold her up while she used the restroom. I forced water down her with a syringe.I also forced her to eat.I know she wanted me to let her die I could see it in her eyes. And then one morning her attitude had changed I could see an improvement day by day after that.Anyway now you can understand why I love her so much.

Sparky is healthy now and raised 6 beautiful puppies from Amos Moses. Larry and I have kept most of these for ourselves. I placed one with the hardest hunting squirrel hunter I know. They will be early starting squirrel dogs! Larry, I think Sparky is getting homesick, I know you are ready to see her and those pups. It won't be long now. Tree that pup!!!
