Old Rowdy Look!

Steve Roark sent this photo of one of Nogo Nell's
male pups and he is a special one. Nogo Nell had
(I think, but my memory goes hay wire sometimes)
7 males and 1 female. This is one of the 7 brothers.
His father is Romeo. Steve still has a couple of the
males from the litter available.

Feist~Killer

Ralph Childers of Marion, North Carolina (western part) sent us this
photo of his Feist, Killer. They bought Killer at a flea marker near their
home and wonder if he is a full Feist. They thought he looked like Opal.
He has the look of the Wilkerson Snowball Feists to me. He is a great dog
and they are proud to have him!

Mabelle Carter!

This is Sparky, Mother Mabelle. Thanks to Steve Roark
I am going to have a pup from her. She is treeing here
when she is just a pup. I took her hunting with the big
d0gs and she treed like she was one of them. That day
she trailed a scent under a big boulder on Richland
Creek. Then she could not get out and it took almost
an hour of me calling her before I got one of her legs
and pulled her out. She got sick when she was less than
a year old and I thought I was going to lose her again.
She is going to be able to really hunt this winter and I
am so excited to see her tree again. When she trees
she is intense and furious at the squirrel, she takes
hunting seriously. I take her seriously. She is out of
Spook and is a littermate to Spud.

Trained Squirrels

Down in Georgia the squirrel hunters are so smart
that they not only train the dogs to tree; they also
train their squirrels. When they blow a whistle,
the gray squirrels go to the grill and wait to be skinned
and eaten. If the hunter does not come right away,
the squirrel just climbs on the grill and lays there and
waits his turn! Well, this is according to Wayne Hawkins.

Fork Treed

This is Fork. Robert Wiggins owns him. Robert builds Home Depos
and Fork goes along and stays at the wooded mobile home parks
with Robert. I think they are in Georgia now. Fork has been
treeing squirrels a couple of months. Robert finally got a
picture of him on a tree. Fork bayed a rattlesnake bigger than
him in the top of a fallen pine tree. Fork is a brother to Midnight
Rider and Teaspoon!

Galla Creek Easter Lily!

Over two years ago, we sold Easter Lily to the
Nortman's of LA. They paid for her to go to
a squirrel camp for a month, but in two weeks
the trainer called for Randy to come and get
her saying...she's done!
Kids start to school today at Sister's school.
Hope they learn that easy!

Sparky Pups

Two Sparky female pups--we sent Sparky to LA and
Steve Roark whelped the pups out of Amos. We are
anxious to get our pups and Sparky home. It will
probably still be a while before we see our babies and
our big baby, Sparky!

Hardtack~easy life!

I looked at Tack and thought of the Reba McIntire song
'he get's that from'.... When Tack screws one of his ears
around in that funky way, he gets that from Max. When
he is hot and his tongue hangs out so long, that's from
Grandma Belle Starr. His beautiful muscled body, he gets
that from Old Romeo! Those spots and the way he can
be dirty and in an hour snowy white, comes from the Old
Rowdy line of Feists. They want to look good. His want
to tree those squirrels, well that comes from a long line of
dogs!!

Tack lives in Georgia with his owner Wayne Hawkins!

Carolina Crossfire/Nelson Pups

This pictures is from December 2005. The pups are
out of Carolina Crossfire and Nelson. Carolina never
has a big litter of pups. Last litter with Spud she only
had three. The litter with Peanut had four pups. She
is bred to Spud and the pups will be here in about 45
days. I want a female from the Spud/Carolina Cross.
Carolina is a benchlegged Feist originally from North
Carolina, but I got her from Charlie Cross who lives
in East Tennessee, near the North Carolina border.

Amos Moses!

This is Amos, owner Mike Joyner, after a hunt. Amos
is thinking...'I did all this work and I think I should at
least get to eat one'. Amos is the sire of our Sparky
pups.

Opal's two males!

Wayne Hawkin's friend wants one of these
male pups. A lady in Michigan would like
a pup. If she takes the other one, both
males are sold. We think the one
female pup from Opal's litter we had for
sale is taken.

Tobias!

Toby is out of Carolina Crossfire and Spud.
Jacob Nemeth owns him. There are lots of
squirrels where Toby is. He is young but
has been treeing them minus barking. Well,
a few days ago...he treed and barked.

Jacob sent this email:
Here are a couple pics from today. This is toby treeing
on his own by smell. He only barked 2 times but when
he did I shot it down for him and then he went crazy over
it . Then when I got home he treedagain by smell. He is
still young and already off to a great start. Think he is going
to be a special one . My friend that was with me could not
believe he was doing that so young............
hope u enjoy the pics,
Jacob

Woody!

Woody is a sister to Sasha and Corker. A single older man
bought Woody to keep in his house as his companion. He
had a German Shepard, too. They are great friends.

Rosco Cloud

This is part of the Spook/Peanut litter. The white pup is the
male that Matt Howell owns, Rosco. Just in the last few weeks,
Rosco is treeing all the squirels that come to Matt's familys
neighbor's trees. The limbs hang over in his pen and he trees
and timbers from his pen...barking all the time. He needs one
shot to him. We lost our male from this line, so we are really
pulling for Rosco to be a good one!

Sasha In Kentucky!

This is Sasha out of Auesome Aussie and Max. She
has a litter of pups out of Widener's Pee Wee. Mike and
Linda White own Sasha and want to sell some of the
pups. They live in NE Kentucky.

Dixie/Spud Pups

Spencer Tapp sent a new picture of the Dixie/Spud pups.
Dixie's pedigree goes back to Belle and Old Rowdy, but
also the old Kemmer Feist we owned in the early 1980s.
He has two males for sale from the litter.

Galla Creek Romeo

Romeo, a son of Belle and Max, was born in December 2002.
He was raised in my house and I kept him inside 'til that
next summer. He was easy to work with, loved people,
and wanted to please. A guy from Jackson, Miss. came up
to buy Bugsy Siegel (brother and littermate to Floyd, Bonnie
Sue Parker, Clyde Barrow, and Baby Face Nelson). Well, he
had a lot of money and left with Bugsy and Romeo--and a little
of my heart.

Romeo was killed this week by his German Shepard dogs.
Don't think he did not love Romeo because he did and Romy
had a good life on his Plantation in Miss. But that does not
ease the saddness of a good Feist gone too soon!
