 Dennis Goins sent photos of Spike--Sissie's  brother. Dennis calls him Lee.  He got Lee's friend in MS and her name is Little Bit!  Dennis said he walks them in the woods each morning and they on their way.

 Hank moved to Harrison today to live on the Lee Davis family's new 20 acres pondarosa.  Haylee and Hayden are proud to have friend to play with at their new home.  His new name is Gunner!

Ellie Gets One

Granberry shared this on facebook.  Ellie got her first squirrel of the season.  She is out of Tie and Patch.  Wade has a second Galla Feist from the July litter of Dobs and Spud.  Go, Ellie!  She made 3 trees and he got one of them!  Go, Ellie!

 We have these two male Mt. Feist pups for sale.  They are 2 and 1/2 months old.  Both really nice Feists out of Spud and Dobs.   Price: $350.00

 Got a surprise bunch of photos and email from Wilson Keen about our Alamo.  She and Wil are older now, but still hunting together.  Aly is out of Cork and Judge Roy Bean (owned by Sherry and Troy Vance today).  Here is his email:
ear Mr. and Mrs. Renfroe,
    This is Wil Keen Hyland from MS. It has been too long since I have updated y'all on Aly, Galla Creek Alamo. I believe she was 3 years old the last time we spoke. She is now 6 as of May 10! The time surely has flown. I am in college now at Mississippi State so Aly lives with my parents but they live only 50 minutes away so I am able to drive home to hunt regularly during the season. Aly is doing better than ever. This past season was definitely her best yet. It seems that squirrel populations have sky rocketed in the last 3-4 years in the MS river bottoms. I've attached several photos to the email so y'all can check her out. Good luck this season!

Sigrid made time in her busy schedule for us tonight. We played rummy and she and Clue played outside.  Clue reminds me of Galla Creek Case.  They are built similar!  His back legs are dark brindle.

Taking it Easy

We are still redoing our bath.   Looking forward to the workers getting finished so I can get in there and trim and paint.  It is looking good but I am getting tired of all the traffic in our little house.

Dan Allee's Piper

Here is a photo of Piper with Sigrid.  Dan gave Sigrid a little present for taking such good care of Piper.  Sigrid used the money to buy a soap making kit and made her mother scented soap for her birthday.  Got an email from Dan that he had lost his older Feist and we are sad for the Allee family, but glad they have Piper to fill the void!

Here is Dan's email to us--sounds like Piper is progressing and doing great.

Hey just wanted to let know Piper is doing great. Very healthy, rambunctious and loves to bark and play.

Here, sit and of course the bell ringing is doing excellent. She is a very quick learner.

We are always teaching her to look up and she does that well.

Going to start playing outdoor games this next weekend.

Not Even a Pot

 To pee in!  We have been busy.  The Meadow House is really old.  The bath started to leak and just seemed the right time to try and redo the plumbing.  We have been literally with a "pot to pee in" but hope to be back to normal soon.   Cool weather is around the corner and excitement about hunting is starting to rise.
