Zack Kraft's Buster

We love it when the new owners of our Feists love their dogs. We are sure Zack is pleased with Buster--we are too. Here is what Zack had to say about Buster!

More practice with buster. Its just to hot to spend alot of time in the woods here. We go to the big woods about once a week but he knows every squirrel that comes thru the yard in the evenings. Great little dog, thank you.

Ish Moves to Louisiana

The Rutlands picked up Ish and headed home. This morning Siggie came over early to play with him one last time. Marc gave Siggie a ten dollar bill for looking after Ish. Ish climbed into Betty's flower pot. He thought he was as pretty as any flower. I will post pictures of Dylan, Lane and Collin Rutland visiting here another day.

Belle's Lady to the Max!

This Belle pup, Shinn's Lady to the Max, turns 9 this month. Yes, old Max was her sire, but she was her mother made over except for the funky ear---she got that from Max. The Shinns own her and live in Virginia! We were thrilled to get these two new photos and see our girl again! Belle almost lived until her 14th birthday and if Lady can be healthy we hope the Lord wills she have many more good years!

Here is the email we received:
Mr. & Mrs. Renfroe,
It has been a few years since I sent you some pictures of Lady and thought you would like to see her at the ripe young age of 9 (born May 2003)!!
We are still in Virginia and she is doing great. Had a close call with her on Christmas 2010 - had to have surgery. She is her same self but had to have her reproductive organs removed due to the infection.
I look at your web site from time to time. Y'all sure have made an impact on the squirrel population in Arkansas!
God's blessings,
David Shinn

Opal and Tie will have a litter of pups June 16. She is showing that she will have pups. Here is a video of her treeing. I have one new deposit and plan to contact the folks who had deposits on Dobs and see if they want one of these pups. Some are available if anyone is interested. Last Opal / Tie litter were all white with some lemon on them.

Pond Bank Mower

I bought this DR Brush Mower off of Craig's List. One thing we wanted it for was to mow the pond bank. It pulls itself. The pond sure looks better with a clean bank!

Siggie's New Job

I hired Siggie. Every day she comes over and plays with my pups she gets a $1.00. So far this week she has earned $3.00. I don't think she realizes it, but I am the one getting the most out of this deal. Here she is playing with Ish and Ike. They are both doing great.

Ishmael, Isaac, and Isaiah Are Weaned!

Marc Rutland get the male with red on white. Hannah gets the male with more black spots on his side. Jerry Dean gets the male that has mostly a white body. You can see from the week old photos that Hannah's male was much smaller than Jerry's but now they are about the same size.
Hannah is coming tomorrow. Jerry Dean said he would probably come Sunday afternoon. Marc let us know when you can pick up Ish. He is adorable.

In Memory of Duncan's Corky!!

In Memory of Duncan's Corky!
Gone too soon!
Once you get a Feist they work their way into the center of your heart. Beth and David Duncan of Ky loved their Kemmer Feist--Corky. He was not yet 4 years old. Beth said he stayed inside and was part of the family but hated cats and squirrels. Today he and his friend Sport were after a squirrel when Corky was hit. Beth said she would love to own another Kemmer Feist. I am posting her message with her email address. I think the Cajun Feist are mostly Kemmer, but I do not have any Kemmer blood in my Feist today. I owned Taylor and several other Kemmers at one time and they were nice little dogs! Here is Beth's message!

Larry~~ I am looking for a Kemmer Fiest Puppy. We had a Male that would have been 4 years old in Nov. We had him for a Pet but He would tree Squirrels also. About 3 weeks ago My husband let Corky out ( Our Kemmer Fiest ) & Our older dog Sport & they were after a Squirrel & Corky got hit . I rushed Him to the Vet but an X Ray showed His back was broke so He had to be put to sleep. We are just Heart Broken. Our older Dog is really grieving also. I know We can't replace Corky but I thought it would help Us plus Sport. I'm attaching pictures so Please if You know where I can get one that looks like Him E Mail Me & let Me know!!
Thank You,
Beth Duncan

Funny From Troy Vance

Dog for Sale
A guy is driving around the back woods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale 'He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard.

The guy goes into the backyard and sees a
nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there.

'You talk?' he asks.

'Yep,' the Lab replies.

After the guy recovers from the shock of
hearing a dog talk, he says 'So, what's your story?'

The Lab looks up and says, 'Well, I
discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA.

In no time at all they had me jetting from
country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping.'

'I was one of their most valuable spies for
eight years running...

But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals.'

'I got married, had a
mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired.'

The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.

'Ten dollars,' the guy says.

'Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?'

'Because he's a
liar . He's never been out of the yard'

Sigrid's Garden

Around Galla Meadow everyone wants a garden. This one is Siggie's. She has peppers, cilantro, flowers. She has her own watering can, too!
