Brown Sugar--no BS!

Brown Sugar, 6 months old, is treeing all over
the mountain behind my house. She is going
to be a good one. She's out of Carolina Crossfire/
G. W. Carver. Her bark sounds like it is coming
from a great big dog instead of little Sugar.

Brown Sugar!

Today is March 29. This is the oldest pup I have out of Peanut,
G. W. Carver. Little Carolina Crossfire is her mother. She was
born in September 2006. Monday I took her over to Galla
Meadow and let her bark at Mrs. Foxy and today upon Galla
woods she treed her first squirrel up a big pine. Mrs. R went to
her and shot twice but missed the mark. (She is a pretty bad
shot.) The squirrel timbered and Brown Sugar went after it.
Sugar's paper name is Tuskegee named after G. W. Carver's
College in AL. Little Sugar treed at 6 months. I hope all the
other Carver pups do as well!

Trapping a Squirrel

I like trapping a squirrel off the ground in an
environment when the squirrel frequents.
My dogs running free can't throw the trap
or kill the squirrel I have worked so hard to get.

Cork in her new Home!

Cork's new owner, Sherry Vance, got her some steps
so she can get on the bed easily. She seems to be
happy and not even a little homesick for Galla Creek.

Amos/Rossi Pups

These pups are out of two former Galla Creek
Dogs--Rossi is the mother and she is out
of Nogo Nell and Baby Face Nelson. Amos
Moses is the father and his parents are
Dummy and Raider. Dummy is Spook's mother.
They really look like the litter we had from
Cranked up and Max.
Owner of the litter is Mike Joyner of LA.
I think they are all sold!

Little Dobber!

Little Dob is already learning to work a track. Sparky, her
sister, has already found this squirrel and tagged it with
her bark, but Dob is trying to figure out what this 'squirrel
hunting' is all about. She will be treeing in a month or two.
Looks just like Sparky!
